This option is limited to those individuals who are over 70 1/2 and have an IRA. This provision permits the participant to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution and directly transfer up to $100,000 of their IRA as a gift, without having to pay income tax on this money. Please contact your IRA administrator for more details.
